South African drummer and percussionist Jako Loots played the djembe on the track Soli. Jako played with MoShang in the Afrikaans art-rock band Duusman. Jako is currently the drummer of the bands Gordon's Suitcase and Menage a Trois. Jako also frequently guests with Scicoustic.
Adriaan Brand is responsible for the beautiful minimalist piano lines on Next In Line. Probably best know as an original member of Springbok Nude Girls (one of the most influential South African rock bands of recent years), he has performed with the cream of South African musicians on trumpet and keys and has composed music for a number of stage productions. Adriaan also plays the Rhodes on Made In Taiwan, MoShang's debut album.
